Water has no taste right or wrong. Water has to have a taste, because what are you tasting? The non taste of water may be what water taste like. When you add salt to water you get salt water. The salt by itself taste like salt, but mixed with water you can a new taste. If water didn't have a taste would you get that taste. Or is that what wet salt taste like? Hmm can you apply the same theory to kool-aid?
I don't think water itself has a taste but depending on what's in the water can affect the taste. Fuji water is the best "tasting" water that I have ever had. Just because it is "pure" and not full of chemicals. If you get water out of the sink, you can taste whatever chemicals that were added to it.
ReplyDeleteNo kool-aid has a definite flavor.
Water also gets it taste based on the mineral content... so water from different sources (wells, mountain springs, rain, city water treatment, etc.) have different tastes.
