I know baseball players get a hard time for Performance Enhancing Drugs, but if you had a chance to make millions of dollars a year would you take that chance? One good year can net you a 5 year 50 million dollar contract; and if you get fired you can recoup some of the money left on the deal. Now that we are web 2.0ing are we on PED's Performance Enhancing Devices. Are the people for Hanover and Richmond public going to call for a state investigation on our libraries because we 2.0. Is 2.0 legal, is it over the counter, (well I got mine from my cousin)will I have to go before Congress and say I didn’t knowingly 2.0, or I misremember. Do I need a Spanish interpreter (help Barbara). I want to be better at my job so I am going to 2.0 and yes I am going to lie to Katie Couric.
So I don't think that you need to lie to Katie or to Congress. Remember that lying to congress can get you jail time. Since, 2.0 is freely available and everyone is doing it i don't think that you would get in trouble. If you do you can always use the "they told me to do it" line.
